The outpouring of love this past week has been amazing and very humbling at the same time. I just want to remind everyone that just because one door closes or your path takes a turn you didn’t want or expect, doesn’t mean the journey is over. Most of the roads I’ve taken in my life have not been paved. But that doesn’t mean that there is no way forward. Sometimes the only way through is to carve out a brand new path. Blazing your own trail is difficult, dangerous, exhausting, and often painful. But when you look behind you and see all of the people following you because you were courageous enough to follow your heart into the unknown... well, nothing quite compares to that. So thank you to all of you for believing, following and joining me on this journey.
