One of my teammates made this sweet sign for when the team met me at the airport after I won the Olympics. I have to tell you, I kind of love that most of the things listed on this sign have little to nothing to do with my diving. This is a great reminder- to live up to these characteristics in pursuit of the great athletic feats. It’s something you can achieve in pursuit of greatness whether or not you reach the end goal. And those things will impact those around you far greater than whether or not you have a medal around your neck. Remember, I’ve won AND lost. I’ve walked both sides.
