Five years ago today, we brought this spicy little peanut home. . On December 15, 2012, Zoe got on a plane, flew across the world, landed in the USA and became an American citizen. She met her big sister, Grandma, Mimi, Pops and Uncle Rob. She saw her home. She started walking. And she took her first ambulance trip to the hospital. . It was an eventful day of firsts to say the least. But it was also a beautiful new beginning for all of us. . Today Zoe stood on a stage alongside all of the kindergarteners, said her name into a "real" microphone and sang Christmas songs. . I love this girl to pieces.
