Today is Dakaia's birthday. So we made a cake and celebrated with our House Church last night. . Then we woke up this morning to the news that our agency is being closed. . Ya'll we are so weary from this process. It's been well over 4 years since we began. It took over 3 years to get matched. We've already had to change agencies once. Ethiopia suspended all international adoptions back in April. We petitioned our representatives and they came to our aid encouraging Ethiopia to finalize all families currently matched with children. Then we had issues with an important person not showing for an interview so our investigation got stuck for months... and now this... on her birthday... another birthday that she's not home. . I'm just not sure my heart can take much more of this. Please pray with me that God makes this path straight and swift from here on out.
