We've been talking about Dakaia (our daughter we're adopting from Ethiopia) for years now. . Last October we finally got to see her face. We've seen her grow and change through a handful of pictures over the months. . But this wait isn't just wearing on me. . Randomly in the car last week, Arella whined, "When is Dakaia coming home?!" . My heart both filled with joy and broke at the same time. I love that my kids want their sister home. It hurts something awful that I can't comfort them with an end date. . I told them I was hoping and praying that we would have her home for Christmas. . They checked this book out from the library the other day.
