Twenty years ago today we lost a mighty world class athlete, a role model, and one of the best friends I've known. She has now been gone longer than she was with us, but I can still hear her laugh, see her smile and feel her love. She taught me how to drive a standard, find the fun in any circumstance, and believe that going to the Olympics was possible.
