In the middle of workout this morning, I had a very, um, interesting conversation with a ten year old diver on the team (who shall remain nameless)... Diver: Did you know there are Senior Age Groups?! (He's very excited about this.) Me: (Silence and a blank stare as I try to process where he's going with this.) What exactly do you mean by that? Diver: It means there are age groups for like 64 and 65 year olds! Me: Are you suggesting I should be in this age group? Diver: Oh! No, I um, it's just a thing... Me: Maybe I should apply for the senior citizen discount and get the early bird dinner special at 4pm, too, huh? (I'm pretending to walk off with a cane and hunched over.) We had some good laughs over this 😂. I think I'll be bringing this story back up when he makes the Olympic Team some day. #divingdays #alwaysanadventure #oldmomnewtricks
