Brenda Crawley has spent nearly two decades giving back to military families by volunteering. Her Red Cross journey began in Virginia while her husband served in the U.S. Navy. Looking for a way to stay engaged with the military community, Brenda joined our mission and never looked back. Today, Brenda serves as the outreach lead for our Service to the Armed Forces team at the TXGulfCoastRedCross region, helping connect military, veteran, and community families with vital resources. She says the smiles on families’ faces make every effort worthwhile. "Those smiles stay with you,” Brenda said. “They remind you why you do this. Giving back brings joy into my life.” Brenda’s passion is deeply personal. Her husband served on active duty, and her daughter is currently stationed at Fort Lewis.
