It was a regular day at work for Derek when he suddenly collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. Three of his colleagues in the Delta Air Lines hangar stepped in to save his life. For 20 minutes, his teammates Ingrid, Mary and Tom performed CPR and used an AED until he had a pulse again. Because of their brave actions and skills, Derek was able to go home to his wife. All three were honored by the MNDAKSRedCross with Lifesaving Awards for stepping up in a moment of crisis.
