If your dog’s gums are a brick red color, it could be a sign they’re suffering from heat stroke. Other symptoms may include diarrhea, increased heart rate, and a body temperature of 104°F or higher. If you notice any of these signs, take action immediately: 1. Spray them down with cool water. 2. Place cool, water-soaked towels on their head, neck, feet and chest. 3. Take them to the vet as soon as possible. Share this with other pet parents to help them stay prepared this summer! #PetOwners #DogLovers #ExtremeHeat #HeatStroke #PetFirstAid
