Kandeh’s quick action and first aid knowledge saved his little brother’s life. One day, while his brother was playing outside with friends, a dog appeared. Startled by the children, the dog bit Kandeh’s brother. Fearing the dog might have rabies, Kandeh knew exactly what to do. He immediately washed the wound thoroughly with soap and water, repeating the process 20 times, and then took his brother to the hospital for further treatment. Thankfully, his brother survived the encounter. This experience inspired Kandeh to volunteer with the Red Cross, where he now teaches others about rabies prevention and vaccination. Thanks to his efforts, more people are getting their pets treated and know how to handle dog bites. #ThanksVolunteers #FirstAid #RedCross
