When a disaster strikes, our volunteers step up. ⛑️ Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin - these are just a few of the states hundreds of our volunteers have traveled from to help people affected by Hurricane Helene. Communities across the Southeast continue to face unimaginable challenges as towns remain inaccessible, homes are destroyed, and people search for missing loved ones. More than 1,000 Red Cross disaster responders are on the ground providing: - A safe space for everyone at our shelters - Meals and snacks - Emergency supplies - Comfort and hope We deeply appreciate all the Red Crossers who have traveled far and wide to help families during this difficult time. #Helene #HurricaneHelene #DisasterResponse #DisasterRelief #Florida #Georgia #SouthCarolina #NorthCarolina #Tennessee #Virginia #DisasterVolunteers #ThankYouVolunteers
