Growing up as the son of a Navy combat medic, Scott Piper was no stranger to military life. He followed in his dad’s footsteps, serving 11 years in the USNavy and Marines before being granted medical retirement.
“My dad wanted me to go off to college and make dumb decision," Scott said. "But I made a different decision, I joined the military and followed in his footsteps. I saw what he did, and I knew that he loved it, and I’ve sought that out for myself.”
Scott is now a disaster program manager at the Red Cross, helping people prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. Veterans bring a unique skill set to the table and we're fortunate to offer a MOS Translator that matches their skills to our open jobs. Tap the link in our bio to check it out!
