Who knew preparing an essential first aid item could look so satisfying? This machine was used to prepare medical gauze for U.S. troops back in the early 1900s. Our production service volunteers had to work in a separate, clean environment to prevent any other fibers from entering the bandages. The gauze would then be packaged, sterilized, and shipped overseas. #RedCrossHistory #Archives #FirstAid #OddlySatisfying #HistoricalImages #MilitarySupport
