Making homes safer makes us feel some type of way! 🤭 Recently, RedCrossCCR volunteers visited communities in Fresno, Calif., and installed nearly 140 smoke alarms with the Fresno fire department and other partners. They helped educate families on common home fire risks, ensured their homes had working smoke alarms, and helped them build a fire escape plan in the event of an emergency. This lifesaving work is being done across the country by Red Cross teams and partners. Since launching our Home Fire Campaign in 2014, we've installed more than 2.6 million smoke alarms and made over 1.1 million homes safer.
