Check out how the Junior Red Cross brought its A-game. 🏀 The organization introduced public playgrounds to countries across Europe in the early 1920s, including France, Belgium, Turkey and Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia). They became a refuge for children who experienced World War I to be physically active and build friendships. What really made the program a success was when the Junior Red Cross introduced basketball to the grounds.
