One of our dedicated Red Cross volunteers recently spotted this portrait of Clara hanging on the wall at the Copley Square Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. While we can’t confirm whether Clara was ever a hotel guest, she did attend a Red Cross award ceremony hosted at the hotel in 1904 — according to our archivist.
