Service. Growth. Friendship. 👈🏼 Those are the values that shine through May Nicole Cagulada's experience as a Red Cross youth volunteer. May Nicole has been with RedCrossLA for over two years. She started her journey in high school, driven by a passion for community service, by launching a Red Cross Club with her peers. "I was ambitious to gain more experience for college," May Nicole said. "We started organizing blood drives and regular meetings, and that's when it got really rewarding for me." As she explored more ways to get involved in the mission, May Nicole applied to become a member of her local Youth Executive Board. This leadership group runs events, community service workshops and volunteer trainings for all of the youth volunteers in their region. She landed the role and began leading educational events about International Humanitarian Law for the Youth Action Campaign.
