Aubrey celebrated her final cancer treatment last month. 💛🎉 For more than two years — 844 days to be exact — Aubrey battled B-cell lymphoma. She underwent surgery, multiple lumbar punctures, four hospital stays for chemotherapy, and a port removal. On exceptionally bad days, the normally active 8-year-old experienced extreme fatigue. Her mother, Amber, learned it meant she had low hemoglobin levels and needed a blood transfusion. “One day in Nov. 2022, it came out of nowhere,” Amber said. “Her numbers kept dropping — it was so scary. She needed two blood transfusions and platelets in a matter of days. I’m so thankful the blood products were so accessible.
