What’s your Red Cross story? Denise Littlefield Sobel learned about the Red Cross and became a supporter because of her grandfather. 🥹
“I first heard about the Red Cross from my father's father, Ted Littlefield," she said. "He was an ambulance driver in France during WWI. He was highly decorated, and I learned from him and my parents the importance of giving back to our country and community,” Denise said.
In honor of her parents and grandfather, Denise has been a committed humanitarian and donor for 20+ years, supporting people affected by disasters across the country. She hopes to continue her family legacy of philanthropy by teaching her grandson (pictured) the importance of giving back as he gets older.
“I can't hold a candle to the real heroes out there, but I hope I can encourage people to think about charity and how important it is,” she said.
