More than 380 Red Cross disaster workers from Maui, other Hawaiian Islands and all corners of the country continue to work 24/7 to help people impacted by the devastating #MauiFires. Here's where things stand today: 🔥 The fires have destroyed more than 2,800 acres and are still burning 📞 Many people are still looking for missing loved ones and our volunteers are supporting those reunification efforts 🛏 Last night, 3.6K+ people sought refuge in 21 emergency shelters 🍽 With partners, we've served 58.8K+ meals and snacks ⛑️ 6K+ local residents across the islands have joined our mission and signed up to volunteer 💪🏾 We’re working with Hawaii_EMA and FEMA to move displaced residents to hotels from congregate shelters until more permanent plans are developed #RedCross #Maui #Hawaii #DisasterRelief #DisasterResponse
