We love witnessing moments like this. 🥹 After a week of being separated from her cat because of wildfires, Candace Olafson was finally reunited with Princess at a Red Cross shelter. She is one of the many people affected by #MauiFires that Red Cross volunteers are supporting through their recovery. Since the fires began, we’ve been working tirelessly with partners to: 🛌 Provide 5.3K+ overnight shelter stays in 16 emergency shelters 🍲 Distribute 32.6K+ meals & snacks to people in need ⛑️ Recruit some 6K local residents as volunteers 📞 Respond to hundreds of reunification requests through our national call center We are here for you, Hawaii, and will be here to support you in the days and weeks to come. #Maui #Hawaii #RedCross #DisasterRelief #DisasterResponse
