How did you and your furry friend meet? 🥹 Kaytlin and Oakley met during a wildfire last year. Oakley’s owners were affected by the Oak Fire in Mariposa, California, and were unable to keep her safe because of the emergency conditions and wildfire evacuations. Now, Kaytlin makes it her priority to prepare and have a plan for disasters with her pets. She has a go-bag ready with essential items for Oakley like extra food, water, a leash and dog bone, and regularly practices 2-minute fire drills in case they need to evacuate quickly. We’re grateful Kaytlin and Oakley have found each other and make emergency preparedness a priority! ❤️ #RedCross #WildfireSeason #DisasterPrep #PetPreparedness
