Yes, I’m a bit overdue on my @wrrccopenhagen26 recap 🙃 Reflecting on last week, I remember waking up every day so grateful to be there. Partly because I feel so incredibly lucky that the thing that got me there (running) is something I love so much. I can’t believe the opportunities I’ve had from this sport, and it’s not lost on me how much of a privilege it is that my career and passion perfectly align. Second, I’m so grateful that our ~mishap~ (can we officially move on from this?) resulted in six women having the opportunity to race. Thank you so much to USATF and World Athletics for allowing this (in particular @jayholderruns @rob__mullett @yoderbegley ). The race itself was a dream day. I was oddly aware of what was going on, and that allowed me to really enjoy it. I had so much fun the entire time. At about 11k, when @jesstonn @weini_kelati & I were all still in the main pack, I could tell we were doing something special. That feeling of knowing (unless something crazy happene...
