Road Mile World Champion Team 🥇 rarely in professional running do you get to experience chasing goals or competing with rather than against other people. running is mostly an individual sport, but I have always said my favorite memories were winning championships in college with my teams. now, winning a gold medal at a world championship with team USA, that’s a whole other level. crazily enough finishing 11th in the world felt somewhat underwhelming for the day, but being in 2nd place at 1k I can confidently say I shot my shot and with confidence like that, one day I’ll be there at the finish. while individually I was left wanting more, taking time to soak in that I was just competing in THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS on MY FIRST US TEAM and finished 11th IN THE WORLD, I’m honestly just proud of myself. I just lived a dream and I’m coming home with a gold medal I’ll share with these people forever. 💙❤️
