I’ve been thinking about my community lately.. If I could give one piece of advice when it comes to a job as an Influncer/ content creator, it is to create a community with the ones who follow you. I think sometimes it’s easy to get caught up on “how many followers” you have on your platform. When really we should focus on the connection and engagement you are making with the ones you already have. Make an effort to respond to as many comments as you can, take the time to say thank you when you receive a compliment or nice engaging comment. Find time to respond to DM’s, I struggle with this more and more as my account grows and don’t get back to every message like I’d like to, but I can’t tell you how many amazing conversations and connections I’ve made in my DM’s. Sometimes I’ll respond in a voice message and get a voice message back (I love that btw.) Sometimes I get to help someone make a final decision on an outfit they are wearing to an event.
