Today's story is from Stephanie (smtrue23 ): I ran my first Boston Marathon at the age of 53 in 2018. I finished in a decent time (4:01) but don't remember the finish. I likely suffered from hypothermia in the crazy Boston weather. I wanted a do-over as I don't remember the last five miles in particular. I had a strong qualifier for 2019, but that was too soon. I entered the 2018 Indy Monumental with a goal to qualify for the 2020 #BostonMarathon. I trained hard for my second CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon as I absolutely love everything about this course, including staying in the lovely (and clean) downtown area and walking to the start. I not only BQ'd but I PR'd by a little over 5 minutes (3:41:45) thanks to some great pacers. I love this marathon and will be back! ---------------------...
