Coming online and pretending everything is okay when the world is burning doesn’t feel normal to me. There is so much pain, violence and injustice happening every day, and it can feel overwhelming and helpless at times. My page will always be a space for creativity, beauty and light, but I never want it to be disconnected from our shared humanity. I truly believe we have a responsibility to not look away, to care, to speak with compassion, and to do what we can. Whether that’s learning, donating, sharing, being on the right side of history. Even small acts matter.
