Graduation is only 3 days away! 🎓 My baby is leaving soon. Hard to believe. 🥲 The best years of my life was having a short time as a part of my kid’s stories. I’m very excited for my daughter and her friends to go out and find their places in the world. Any of you who follow me, here is some advice I would tell my senior self if I could go back in time. After I got to college, I didn’t call my mom as much as I should have. Little did I know she had breast cancer at the time and didn’t tell me until I came home for the holidays. She didn’t want me to worry about her and to focus on college. I only tell this story because now I am on the other side as the mom. It’s hard being a parent and knowing what to do when the kids leave the nest. Just remember to check in and take a few minutes to tell us about your new life.
