This easy Chocolate Pie is our family’s Thanksgiving tradition thanks to my Great-Grandma Chunkie! Born in 1908 as Lily Maybell, Grandma Chunkie worked in her family’s diner in Tulsa making the pies. She was my Grandma’s mother and we always had at least 6 amazing homemade pies every Thanksgiving! Since I only liked chocolate, she would make me my own pie. This pie! I got my love of baking from Grandma Chunkie! She let me help her bake and I also got to play with all of her jewelry (clip on earrings!) and make-up. I loved hearing stories of her travels and times when she dated a pro-wrestler… the kind like you see now on the WWF! Ha. She was a rare breed of her time! I remember her as a fun tiny little spit fire lady with pink tinted hair and always wearing a cute apron. I’m so thankful to have had her in my life and so happy to share her recipe with you! It’s my kid’s favorite now. >> Recipe Link in profile. . . #recipe #livinglocurto #chocolate #chocolatepie #lovetobake #bakinggoal...
