I’ve been thinking a lot about how many of the decisions we make aren’t actually based on what makes us happy, but more about how we want to be perceived. Would you still do what you’re doing if nobody saw it? If there was no recognition, no validation, no one to impress? Because when things get difficult, being perceived a certain way isn’t enough to sustain you. What keeps you going is remembering why you started and finding genuine happiness in what you’re doing. I think there’s so much freedom in stripping it all back and asking yourself what you actually enjoy. What makes you feel fulfilled, even when nobody else is there to recognise it. And this applies to so many areas of life. The choices we make, the goals we chase, the things we prioritise. Maybe the real goal isn’t creating a life that looks good to everyone else. Maybe it’s creating one that actually feels good to you. #PersonalGrowth #SelfDevelopment #AuthenticLiving #MindsetShift #FindingHappiness
