It's been 12 years since Pride premiered at Cannes Film Festival! Starring the likes of Imelda Staunton and Bill Nighy, alongside queer icons Andrew Scott, Jessica Gunning and Russell Tovey, the film is based on the true story of Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners, a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners' strike in 1984 🌈 #Pride #onthisday #popculture #cannes #miners
