It's been 32 years since The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 1994! The classic queer road comedy follows two drag queens and a trans woman on their journey across the Australian Outback on a tour bus named Priscilla. Starring Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pierce, the film became a surprise hit, going on to receive positive reviews and an Oscar for Best Costume Design at the 67th Academy Awards in 1995. A sequel is currently in production, with Stamp having filmed his scenes before his passing in 2025 ❤️ #priscilla #drag #dragqueen #cannes #filmhistory
