Over the last two decades, television has gradually become a beacon of strong LGBTQIA+ representation, thanks to an array of queer classics. Despite this increased visibility, there’s still room for improvement, especially when it comes to representing the bisexuals. While a ton of queer-inclusive shows have featured prominent, fully fleshed-out gay male characters, the same can’t be said for bisexual men, who have been historically villainised for their sexuality or portrayed as outdated stereotypes. Fortunately, the tide has begun to shift in recent years, with a growing number of shows presenting bisexual male characters who aren’t one-note caricatures or sidelined figures. In light of this ongoing bisexual renaissance on TV, we’ve curated a list of series featuring lead bisexual characters that have helped advance LGBTQIA+ representation. From Heated Rivalry to Elite, check out the full list at the link in bio 💜 #heartstopper #911 #bi #bisexual #queer
