Stranger popcorns 🍿 • 1 tsp butter, coconut butter, or oil • 1/2 cup sugar • 4 tbsp water • 1/4 tsp baking soda (just the tip of the teaspoon) • 1 tsp natural colorant (matcha, blue spirulina, beetroot powder, orange powder, turmeric powder, açaí powder, etc.) or 1 tbsp liquid food colorant • 4 drops of flavoring (lemon, strawberry, etc.) • Corn + 1 tsp oil or butter for popping Instructions: 1. Pop the corn first with a bit of oil or butter and set it aside. 2. Now make the color coating. Mix the butter, sugar, water, baking soda, colorant, and flavoring. If you’re using a natural powder as the colorant, add an extra tablespoon of water. 3. On medium heat, let everything blend together. Stir until the sugar has melted and the mixture starts to foam slightly. 4. Turn off the heat and quickly mix in the previously popped popcorn until it’s evenly coated. 5. Spread the popcorn onto a baking sheet to cool. Once cooled, it’s easy to separate the pieces and mix them in a bowl. #popco...
