My dear friend @Julius Fiedler came up with such a cool and fun recipe to make the best boba tea I’ve ever tried in my life! There are 4 recipes in this video and the best thing is that you would need just 4 ingredients to make them all from scratch. POTATO STARCH -1kg starchy potatoes STEP BY STEP: • wash & finely grate potatoes • cover with water to loosen starches • add to a cheesecloth and squeeze the liquid into a bowl (keep leftover potatoes) • let the starches sink to the bottom, then pour off the water • repeat with fresh water for cleaner, white starches • transfer the wet starches to a lined baking tray and dry for 2 days BOBA PEARLS -30ml water -25g dark brown sugar -55g potato starch + extra for dusting STEP BY STEP: • bring water and sugar to a boil over low heat • slowly stir in half of the potato starch • turn off the heat and stir in the rest of the starch • shape into rough dough, then transfer to cutting board and knead • roll the dough into pea-sized balls • dust th...
