In our vertical farm, we use agricultural rock wool as a soilless substrate to grow our crops. Rock wool is a soilless substrate that is made from basaltic rock which comes from the lava of volcanoes. This substrate is commonly used in hydroponics and aeroponics. Soaking the substrate in water before to adding your seeds is a crucial factor when growing crops on aeroponic towers. #verticalfarming #substrate #rockwool #aeroponics #germination #hydroponics #seedlings #seeds
