This male elephant calf was emaciated when he was admitted to the IFAW-Wildlife Trust of India Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, but as you can see, he’s already made impressive growth! In 35 days, he gained 34 kgs thanks to expert care and bottle feedings with customized formula. He has also begun foraging on natural long grasses, which is an excellent sign that he is on positive path for a return #BackToTheWild.
