This is what we mean when we talk about the importance of every animal. 🐘 Roxy and Jos, the mother and son team at the helm of our partners @Wild is Life share an intimate look into the moment when one of their elephants in rehabilitation, Annabel, gave birth to a new calf named Summer. Annabel was rescued with some severe disabilities, so seeing her give birth was a tremendous success on its own, but it also made her the first rescued elephant in their care to deliver a new calf into the herd! Summer and Annabel are a beautiful representation of how their work is helping repopulate the endangered elephant population and why every elephant is valuable and can make a difference.
