Working at Fresh Tape requires learning a second language... kind of. 😂 Over the years, our Slack has slowly evolved into a collection of words, abbreviations and phrases that make perfect sense to us and potentially no one else. So naturally, we made a "Fresh Tape Short Form" spreadsheet. A few important translations if you work with us: • cat: human being & skosh: second (apparently AJ is ancient and has brought these back) • codswallop: nonsense & wicked: awesome (we blame our resident Brit Kate for these) • lbtm: looks bad to me (Selena 💀) • fye: fire & soz: sorry (blame our Gen Z'ers Kylie & Ruby) • And then there's dwai, ik, k ya, lmk, pl, q, r, rdy, rn, sg, ye, and yk (because Adi has a personal vendetta against unnecessary letters).
