411 on the 412- I started drinking matcha in 2017 while I was on deployment. My aunt was living in Japan at the time and sent me a care package with this green powder that was supposed to give me energy for my 12 hour shifts but without the jitters of coffee. At a time when I was in the trenches (pun intended), this bright green drink ritual was the little pick me up that I looked forward to everyday. I know it sounds dramatic but matcha has been such an integral part of my life for so long. Anyway, Mandarine matcha finally came out with their matcha tins and I was able to grab a tin and I’m so excited to have my favorite Pittsburgh matcha at home!
