Happy New Year, y’all! 🥳 After having celebrated a decade of impact in 2021, we’re looking forward to the next 10 years of educating and activating youth in creative conservation 🌊 One major part of our programming is recognizing young artists worldwide who are raising awareness about ocean conservation issues like climate change by awarding hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships. We often hear back from students about how our awards have not only made them feel like they can truly make a difference 💙, but have also helped them buy art supplies 🎨, help pay their way through college 🎓, and even launch their own environmental projects 🌱 In 2021 alone, we awarded $92,000 to more than 350 students!
