Congrats, again, to beach.lex for being selected as a 2022 Fellowship grantee!! 🥳 The Fellowship Program, founded this year by the future.blue.youth.council, is a grant initiative that gives funding and mentorship to students ages 13-19 who are addressing water-related issues in their communities through new or emerging projects 💧 We were pumped to learn about Beachlex since it’s a nonprofit run by students right here, in our home state of Massachusetts! 😃 With the grant we’ve awarded them and the mentorship and support of the 2022 Council, Gabriel O’Brien (17), Chaitrali Samant (17), and Jacob Waxman (17) hope to expand Beachlex’s reach and its programming, which includes sharing educational content and hosting beach cleanups.
