ICYMI: last month, Bow Seat alumna elygerman created murals in the small fishing town of Skagaströnd, Iceland 🇮🇸 merging designs from Chelsea Tang checisu and Rachel Oh racheloh242’s 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest award-winning artwork with her own character, DANDA! This is DANDA’s origin story, featuring the music of yet another one of our awesome alums, Kai Kubota-Enright rubbersprings 😃 We’re proud to have supported Ely during her nesartistresidency as she learned all about Icelandic culture—especially as it relates to nature and the ocean 🌊—and was inspired by the locals and their stories to create her amazing pieces 🎨 ✨ Stay tuned for more about this project! · · · #BowSeat #studentartists #animationvideo #folklore #charactercreation #storytelling #murals #Icelandmurals #seasidemural #oceanawareness
