Now in Iceland 🇮🇸: Bow Seat student art! 😃 In a country all about its dwarves, elves, trolls and more 🧚🏽‍♀️, Bow Seat alumna elygerman created something ✨ magical ✨ of her own: murals merging DANDA—a character born out of her love for dandelions in the small fishing town of Skagaströnd—and designs from 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest award-winning artwork by Chelsea Tang checisu and Rachel Oh racheloh242! 🖌️ We’re proud to have supported Ely’s artist 🎨 residency this past month as she learned all about Icelandic culture—especially as it relates to nature and the ocean 🌊—and was inspired by the locals and their stories 📖 to create these amazing pieces.
