This Gold Award-winning piece from our 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest isn't just #MondayMotivation—it's an anthem for the people 🙌, a rallying cry 📣 to push for the environmental policies that we all NEED 🌎 🌊 "WE are the hope. The young people that take a stand, boycott school and picket outside government buildings, who write to senators," wrote Rose @rosenroserot (16, Pennsylvania), now a member of our Future Blue Youth Council 💪 "I have begun the process of writing letters, some of which are in my book. I aim to write one a week in 2020 and hope to encourage others to do the same. Sign the petitions, make your voice heard. When times seem dark, be your own light." 💫 · · · #OceanAwarenessContest #2020OceanAwarenessContest #artivism #environmentalmovement #climatemovement #actonclimate #youthriseup #spokenword #climatepoetry #popupbooklover
