With pieces like this one, no wonder our student artists are making the news! 😊 Zara was featured in her local paper the Lethbridge Herald for her Bronze Award-winning piece in the Junior Poetry category of our 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest 🙌 Zara had joined an environmental team at her school, but their fundraiser to support environmental causes was cancelled due to COVID-19. Determined to continue supporting the environment, she decided to participate in our 2020 Contest and highlight the record-breaking number of sea turtles that hatched in India 🌊 "When I read about all the people who are doing their best to mitigate the effects of the warming of our planet, that always gives me hope," she wrote.
