Woodstock 50 is dead -- maybe. A financial investor in the highly-anticipated three-day New York festival that had been scheduled for Aug. 16-18 to commemorate the milestone anniversary said in a statement Monday it had "decided to cancel" the event. Shortly thereafter, the Woodstock 50 organizers offered a conflicting statement, telling some media outlets the show would go on. Hours later, it's up in the air. Billboard initially broke the news Monday that Dentsu Aegie Network's Amplifi Live was pulling funding, though the company didn't offer specifics on the circumstances that prompted its decision. Today in New York’s Lauren Scala also has a story about one very expensive trash can and an I-Team investigation on privacy.
