Mankei is not only the local colloquial term for the marmot native to this part of the Austrian Alps, but also the name of the new summer location on the Großglockner hosted by fat.international and the textile/leather strap specially developed for the occasion. Porsche Design has held back a tranche of 50 pieces of the Chronograph 1 - GP 2023 Edition, which is limited to 250 and almost sold out. Around the time of the Mankei opening, there is therefore an exclusive opportunity to acquire one of the last examples of the coveted timepiece, naturally with a "Mankei strap". All those who already own the timepiece can add the strap free of charge - but only on-site. As with the chronograph itself, the F.A.T. team was closely involved in the design process together with the engineers of Porsche's own watchmaking facility in Solothurn, Switzerland.
