Puck and flagartfoundation are proud to present “The Art of Influence,” a new art market summit on September 15th, which will bring together industry leaders like J. Tomilson Hill for a frank discussion about building a brighter future for the art world at this critical inflection point.
After a career in mergers and acquisitions at First Boston and Lehman Brothers, where rose to become co-C.E.O., Hill joined Blackstone in 1993 where he led the hedge fund group until he stepped down in 2019. That year he opened the Hill Art Foundation in Chelsea and became a trustee of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. He was named chairman of the Guggenheim museum in 2021. He had previously served as chairman of the Hirshhorn museum in Washington, DC. He also serves on Christie’s advisory board.
